I appreciate that his office is clean and he is thorough. He starts with consultation, review of your medical history and your chief complaint that brought you to his office.

He does not make any bombastic claims that he will cure me of anything, he merely does his job-what he has been trained to do and well practiced in with over 16 years of experience (I checked his license).

I could sense his authority and comfort level with his craft even though he speaks very little. I was comparing his approach to this younger woman who came from Modern Acupuncture business model. She banks on her bedside manner of sweet talk and touts her M.S. degree but she only has barely 2 years in the industry treating patients as a licensed acupuncturist. Unfortunately I did not check into this until i was $3k deep with buying her B.S.

It's very important to be realistic when searching for holistic healing and alternative health care--if you have a severe condition that requires medical interventions of a western nature--then don't waste valuable time, deceiving yourself into expecting a miracle from a holistic medicine practitioner--contrary to popular 'mis' belief--these guys aren't magicians--but they CAN offer some NATURAL relief depending on how far along you are in a disease process.

Overall, I decided to keep seeing Dr. Kim over the high falutin Graduate with an M.S. degree, for many reasons but one being that Dr. Kim has experience backing him and his clinic is clean, he accepts insurance, and he is respectful of my body & personal space -- so far, he has been very professional.

I hope to write a follow up review for him in 6 months. For now, I would encourage anyone who is open to trying TCM/fire cupping etc. to give Dr. Kim and his wife a try.

But to the general public, I caution all to do their due diligence, go to https://search.dca.ca.gov/ and see how long the practitioner has been licensed, if there are any marks or discipline and then proceed cautiously.

  I was experiencing severe pain on my neck / shoulder / head due to a massage that was incorrectly done on me from a massage place. The pain was unbearable... read more to the point where I could not sleep with my head on a pillow! I stopped by Dr. Kim's clinic and after the first session, I felt such an improvement. I was able to move my head more comfortably. I went for a second session and afterwards I was fully healed and recovered. It was amazing. I was really concerned and scared about not being able to move my neck or head again but Dr. Kim and his practice alleviated all of my concerns and pain. I came in for muscle tension and stress. If you suffer from, tight muscles and/or stress you have to come in and see them! Do not wait another minute! I wish I hadn't. I feel so good! My mind is quiet and relaxed. My body back, neck, and shoulders feel great! I went in feeling cray-cray (crazy), and I left feeling light, relaxed, and left with a smile (my usual self).
